Welcome to Grand Coulee!

 Located in North Central Washington and part of Grant County, the city has a total area of 1.36 miles and was incorporated on November 6, 1935. Population was 1067 at the 2019 census. Grand Coulee is home to the Grand Coulee Dam, the largest hydro-power generating facility in the United States, which also provides water for the Columbia Basin Project. With Lake Roosevelt on its eastern border and Banks Lake to the west, outdoor recreation is a large part of the community. Boating, fishing, hunting, hiking and other activities are enjoyed throughout the year.

CITY OF GRAND COULEE PLANNING COMMISSION – OPENING

 The City of Grand Coulee is seeking letters of interest for a vacant position on the City’s Planning Commission. This is non-compensated position. Requirements for the position are as follows:

*Must be a citizen of the United States.

*Must be a resident of the City of Grand Coulee or the owner of a business within the City of Grand Coulee.

The Grand Coulee City Council meets every third Tuesday night of each month. Meetings are open to the public and start at  6:00 pm, at City Hall.
