Welcome to Grand Coulee!

Located in North Central Washington and part of Grant County, the city has a total area of 1.36 miles and was incorporated on November 6, 1935. Population was 1067 at the 2019 census. Grand Coulee is home to the Grand Coulee Dam, the largest hydro-power generating facility in the United States, which also provides water for the Columbia Basin Project. With Lake Roosevelt on its eastern border and Banks Lake to the west, outdoor recreation is a large part of the community. Boating, fishing, hunting, hiking and other activities are enjoyed throughout the year.

Grand Coulee

The project includes crack sealing, pavement repair, and chip sealing segments of the following streets: Federal Avenue, Main Street, Continental Heights, Spokane Way, Noble Road, Prims Place, and Martin Road.  The project also includes crack sealing and pavement repair to select segments of the following streets: 2nd Street, 3rd Street, A Street, Banker Street, Banks Avenue, Bowen Street, Burdin Boulevard, Cole Street, Dill Avenue, Division Street, F Street, Federal Avenue, G Street, Garner, Hill Avenue, Jones Street, Kimball Street, King Street, Knute Street, McGovern Street, Mead Avenue, Morrison Street, Partello Street, Ronald Drive, Roosevelt Drive, Van Tyne Street, Wetzel Street and Young Street.

Schedule: Construction will start on Monday, August 12th and is expected to be completed by the end of September. The Contractor has 30 working days to substantially complete the project.
